In addition to work that appears under my own name, I act from time to time as a ghostwriter, as well as working in the field of PR, or public relations. I discovered long ago that I possessed a certain talent for promoting the work of others, whether they were private individuals, corporations or causes, so this is an avenue I’ve pursued with increasing vigour and enthusiasm over the last decade or so.
As well as working for commissions, it’s given me enormous satisfaction to privately assist individuals or causes over the years for the love of it, because I’m fully aware of the agonies that some well-meaning people endure when they cannot articulate their thoughts as eloquently and effectively as they might like, or when in the face of an ever-growing internet and an apparently uncaring media, they cannot find a way to make their presence noticed and their voices heard.
