The Return of Eternal Idol?

Snapshot_20141112

I understand that my Eternal Idol site may well be returning within a few weeks, after languishing for a few months in the internet’s equivalent of Purgatory, or Limbo.

I’m not yet sure what form it will take, but while I’ll do everything to restore it to its former glory, we all surely realise that nothing lasts forever.

I was wondering what had happened to the original site; after all the actual domain name registration doesn’t expire until 2015, so that can’t be the source of the trouble.

Austin, I honestly don’t know what form it will return in, while I very much doubt that every last thing posted and published there can be retrieved. However, I’m told it will be back and that it won’t be unrecognisable to its previous incarnation, so this is good, while I’ll naturally do everything I can to help to restore it to its former glory.

Dennis ,Your reference to pomegranates being the food of the Gods, is that a reference to Hades and Persephone? .I would be interested to know what Celtic or earlier deity(ies) you consider most closely correspond with Kore / Persephone . Thanks

Yes, it was indeed a reference to Hades and Persephone, but to answer your question, I would need to delve deep into some of my weightier tomes dealing with mythology. When I have a considered opinion, I’ll let you know ๐Ÿ™‚
